Carol Kresge is a mom, ex-engineer, and an ex-executive living in Evergreen, Colorado, who left corporate America to run a bed and breakfast in the Colorado mountains almost 20 years ago and never looked back. When her two sons were born, she began "The Happy Bookers" allowing her the freedom to be a stay-home mom and continue to provide beautiful spaces for guests to enjoy with their friends, families, and coworkers. A decade ago, she was lucky enough to meet Amy Carlson Phelps and Mountain Clover Homes was born, a management company that is anything but a management company. It is an expression of love for people in the form of offering beautiful and well-equipped homes for family reunions, corporate retreats, and group vacations.
Amy is a brilliant designer and host, and a mom too. She and her family live in Breckenridge and the two moms bonded over the shared desire to make the world a happier place, one booking at a time.
Carol and Amy know that the rest of the world is booking homes online with the click of a button ~ they prefer to speak with their guests. It takes a little more time, but they think you'll notice the difference. They believe that Karma is a solid business principal and run the company accordingly ~ after more than a decade, their guests and clients return year after year. They look forward to welcoming you to one of their large vacation rentals in the Colorado Mountains.
